Volunteer Oportunities
Adopt an Emergency Shelter or Transitional Housing family for 6 to 12 months for on-going support and mentoring (training required) Adopt the four Emergency Shelter families and/or Transitional Housing families for a family event (a barbeque, bowling party, or baseball game...) Complete domestic violence training and volunteer to carry the domestic violence hotline cell phone and/or accompany victims to court for criminal cases and orders of protection Develop a pool of people who can help with transporting families to Maricopa Work Force Connection, the DES office, medical appointments, or other places when they lack transportation Help clean up and landscape yards at Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing Offer jobs to our families Offer car pooling opportunities to our families
