Youth Mission: Matthew 28: 18-20
Our 6th-8th ministry and our High School ministry revolve around these 4 things...
1. Program
The physical gathering of our community is extremely important. (Acts 2:42).
6th-8th grade program – meets at Parkway Christian Church every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
High School program – meets at Parkway Christian Church every Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
2. Schools
Jesus Christ was all about GOing to people, rather than making them come to Him. This mentality is very important to us as well.
3. Action Groups
Jesus routinely met with His students for discussion, accountability, team building, and teaching. Action Groups are divided by gender. Each Action Group has at least two leaders. Action Groups have no more than 12 members. To get involved in an Action Group, email Brandi.
4. Mission Opps
Christ and His disciples routinely looked for people in need and filled the need by serving and teaching. Our Mission Opportunities (Mission Opps) will copy that example. We will continually look for people in need in our community (Surprise/El Mirage), serve them/fill their needs, and then always look for an opportunity to teach them and teach our students about Christ.
